Friday! It’s time to check a new publication in our virtual library. Take a look at the catalogue of artist Deborah Engel’s solo exhibition “Mergulho” (Dive), which took place at Portas Vilaseca Galeria in 2019. With a critical essay by Daniela Labra and photos by Pedro Victor Brandão, the publication (bilingual – in Portuguese and English) covers Engel’s photographic objects, which offer a dizzying and surprising immersive effect, and also features the site specific installation “X , Y, Z ”, a unique experimental project on perspective with lines presented on the third floor of the gallery.
