Artist Élle de Bernardini presents a work from her series “Peludinhos” at the group show “Lance”at Centro Cultural São Paulo. Curated by Carollina Lauriano and Guilherme Teixeira, the exhibition brings together the recent production of the Refúgio Program participants, in dialogue with contemporary artists.
Refúgio works as a hybrid visual arts studio assisting inmates from the CASA Foundation and non-incarcerated youth undergoing assisted probation in the city of São Paulo. In addition to promoting the discussion of art education practices, “Lance” is also a charity auction – all works will be available for sale when the show ends and the amount raised will be used to keep the program running.
“Lance” is on display until August, 6 and is kindly supported by the São Paulo Department of Culture and galleries Portas Vilaseca, Mendes Wood DM, Fortes D’Aloia and Gabriel, HOA, Millan, DoisUm.
