Portas Vilaseca Galeria is pleased to present at SWAB Barcelona – in partnership with Spanish gallery Reiners Contemporary Art – the solo project “Punta de Lanza“, which brings together Mulambö‘s most recent production.
The project is a development of a recent residency programme that the artist participated in the city of Barcelona, where he conceived a series of works that take the Brazilian footballer Vinícius Jr. as inspiration.
On display on booth 16 are paintings in different formats and supports that carry symbols and images of anti-racist resistance, in dialogue with Afro-Brazilian traditions.
Bringing together more than 80 galleries from around the world, SWAB Barcelona takes place at the Fira Montjuïc Pavilion and runs until Sunday (Oct, 8).
