Her artistic practice is centred on recovering hidden stories of resistance, which are rewritten in installations with multiple narratives. Based on extensive research, Hupe's approach aims to construct counter-memories to colonial archives. Her production encompasses a diversity of techniques and media, including photography, video, writing, printmaking and sculpture, and is consistently marked by an opposition to the idea of a singular narrative.
