In her artistic practice, Iah Bahia explores different materialities, drawing from experimentation and abstraction in her search for new forms. Her research is grounded in the observation of inhabited spaces and a transdisciplinary approach. Her works reveal tensions and conflicts between matter, form, textures, and color planes, employing imaginative and procedural propositions that incorporate fabric, waste, paper, and other compositional and transitory elements.
