Julia Debasse

In her works, Julia explores narratives that combine references to "low" and "high culture". Through painting and drawing, and the use of different supports - which include cardboard, wood, among other unusual objects traced in daily life - the artist seeks to eliminate the spaces that supposedly exist between these realms. In her most recent production, she has been gathering extraordinary figures and situations that confirm the hallucinatory dimension of her project to create fables.
