With free admission this following Saturday (9), the Rio Art Museum – MAR opens “Ocuppation Bori: the film“, which celebrates one of the most important works of artist Ayrson Heráclito.
“Bori” is a ritualistic performance, in which Heráclito offers sacred food to the heads of 12 artists representing different orishas/deities. In this special occupation, curated by Marcelo Campos, the public will be able to see for the first time the film “Irawo Bori – Offering to the head“, directed by Lula Buarque de Hollanda – a poetic view of the performance presented at the Pinacoteca de São Paulo in 2022.
In addition to the film, the 12 photographs that comprise the series – part of the MAR collection – will also be displayed. The occupation runs until January 7, 2024.
