Arthur Palhano is participating in the group exhibition “Acepipes” at Quina Mobília, a furniture shop located in Barra Funda, in the west side of São Paulo. The opening event is scheduled for this Saturday (24th), starting at 10 am (Rua Anhanguera, 379).
Palhano will present two oil paintings from his latest production, alongside works by artists Estela May, Ivo Lage, João Montanaro, and Zoé Passos — all displayed among the shop’s items.
Featuring a critical text by Lucas Albuquerque, the exhibition explores the multiple facets of drawing, its power and fragility: drawings that evolve into sculptures, paintings, and even anti-drawings, each embodying the unique logic of its strokes.
“Acepipes” will be on show until August, 29. In the Friday edition of the Folha de S.Paulo newspaper, the show is one of the highlights of the Ilustrada supplement, in an article written by Diogo Bachega.
