Lives and wokrs in Lisboa, Portugal

His artistic practice delves into the symbiotic relationships that underpin ecological, existential, and emotional systems, employing a diverse range of materials to create sculptures and installations. His work explores concepts such as transmutation and hybridity, constructing a meta-universe inspired by the plant world and the interactions between flora and fauna, including pollination, while also addressing the intricate relationships between non-human entities and humanity within the framework of the Anthropocene. His creations evoke sensory experiences, drawing upon aesthetic and poetic dimensions to foster critical awareness and contemplation. Trêpa received formal training in ceramics at the António Arroio Art School, holds a degree in Sculpture, and a master's degree in Multimedia Art from the Faculty of Fine Arts at the University of Lisbon.
