Marcone Moreira

He began his artistic experiments in the late 90s and, since then, has participated in several exhibitions across the country and abroad. His work incorporates various languages, such as paintings, sculptures, videos, objects, photographs and installations. His research is associated with the memory of worn-out materials imbued with culturally constructed meanings. In his artistic practice, Moreira develops a working methodology that focuses on the appropriation, displacement and symbolic exchange of materials.
