In the course of the months of April and May, our represented artist Mano Penalva participates in the Casa Wabi Residency Program, on the Pacific coast of Mexico.
One of the projects to be developed during this period is the creation of a garden next to the house, based on the thought of a pedagogy of the land.
Check on the gallery below photos of the first exercises for creating the garden and some images of the house and the view from the artist’s studio space.
Casa Wabi Residency Program is one of the projects developed by the foundation of the same name, a non-profit civil organization that aims to promote collaborative and social commitment through art. The artists selected for the residency have the opportunity to develop their works through interaction with other disciplines and with members of local communities in the region that comprises the state of Oaxaca, southwest Mexico.
