At the 11th edition of ArtRio, we presented the most recent production of five guest artists in a booth designed especially for the fair , alongside an exclusive selection of works by our 23 represented artists.
Among the works selected, we highlight: “A língua como um estandarte”, an iconic work by guest artist André Vargas; the new series “Drawings of Freedom”, by Bahia-born and based artist Ayrson Heráclito; and the series of serigraphs “Let’s suppose we were in a free country”, by Rio de Janeiro-born and Berlin-based artist, Ana Hupe.
We also highlight works the first participation of two young artists represented by the gallery: the Maranhão-born and Minas Gerais-based artist Pedro Neves, and artist from Espírito Santo, Kika Carvalho, who was nominated this year for the Pipa Award.
