Represented by Portas Vilaseca Galeria, artists Claudia Hersz, Mulambö, Deborah Engel and Pedro Victor Brandão are participating in the project “Fotos Pró Rio“, organized by FotoRio, Galeria Aymoré, Ateliê Oriente and Retrato Espaço Cultural in support of nonprofit organizations operating in poor areas in and around Rio de Janeiro, and also in support of photographers and visual artists in financial difficulties due to the pandemic.
On the website www.fotosprorio.com you can search and buy photos of more than 400 participating artists. Works can be purchased until 19th October for a standard price of BRL 180,00. Curators from different parts of the country, as well as collectors and other photography professionals, have participated in the selection process. They also collaborated with an image of their own.
