Represented by Portas Vilaseca Galeria, artist Gustavo Nazareno has been selected at SP-Arte 2021 as one of the finalists of the EFG Latin America Art Award, an acquisition award organized by ArtNexus and EFG Bank that will contemplate the work of a contemporary Latin American artist, through a pre-selection process at art fairs in the continent.
His work “Guinea” was acknowledged during the selection process, which had the collaboration of art critic and historian Julia Buenaventura and Celia Sredni de Birbragher, director of ArtNexus.
Also participating in the award are artists selected at Art Lima fair, in Peru; arteBA, in Buenos Aires, Argentina; and ArtBo, in Bogotá, Colombia. The final ceremony will take place in Miami (USA) in December and the winner will have a work acquired by the EFG Bank collection.
