This Saturday, August 31st, at 11 am, the Pinacoteca de São Paulo will present the São Paulo première of the film “Irawo Bori: Offering to the Cosmic Head“, conceived from the presentation of Ayrson Heráclito‘s ritualistic performance “Bori“ at Pina Luz, during his 2022 exhibition “Yorùbáiano”.
The film is directed by Ayrson Heráclito in partnership with filmmaker Lula Buarque de Hollanda. The video room that will screen the film – located in the Pina Luz building – is a space dedicated to audiovisual exhibition, a fundamental production in contemporary art in Brazil.
