From his house/studio in São Paulo, artist Felipe Seixas will be leading a live on our Instagram profile (@portasvilaseca) this Thursday, 14 May, starting at 4 pm. He will talk to the public about his background as an artist, his latest works and current researches. The contrast and friction between the material and the immaterial; the palpable and the untouchable; the physical and the virtual shape the universe of his investigations. In his works, Seixas combines the solidity of elements such as concrete, cement, steel, coal or asphalt with the ephemerality present in digital graphics, through the use of light in electronic devices, establishing dialogues between new technologies and the built environment.
