PORTAS VILASECA GALERIA participates again bringing two exclusive solo shows by artists Julia Debasse and Carolina Martinez.
The Brazilian edition of the fair emerged as an independent initiative – based on a project developed by the agency TREAT (located in Vienna, Austria). The fair has already toured several cities across the world, such as Berlin, Chicago, Paris, Tokyo, Warsaw, Toronto, among others.
NOT CANCELLED BRAZIL kicked off on 10th June and continues until 8th July, showcasing the main contemporary art galleries active in the country. The Brazilian edition comprises 57 galleries from 9 different cities, with works by more than 100 artists.
Don’t miss Julia Debasse’s paintings, which combine references to B movies, religious syncretism, erudite and popular cultures. On the other hand, Carolina Martinez brings the series “Perimeters”, in which a set of paintings on wood represents a fraction of a continuous space from an architectural perspective.
