Having recently launched a curatorial program, the online art platform Vortic presents the virtual exhibition “Chromatic Vigor: Affirmation“, curated by Cecília Fortes.

On display until May 28, the group show brings together works by 6 Brazilian artists whose practices delve into chromatic issues as a form of transcendence in the search for imaginary spaces – facing the hostility of current times.

Mano Penalva takes part in the exhibition showing 3 works from his series “Ventana“, which focuses on the aesthetic rearrangement of everyday objects and their relationship between the domestic environment and the streets.

Other participating artists include: Rafael Alonso, Tainan Cabral, Maria Lynch, Sophia Loeb and Jeane Terra.
