Silent Geometry brings together the work of Lucia Vilaseca, who explores the relationship between color, geometry, and space. Influenced by the avant-garde of contemporary art and masters such as Ivan Serpa, Aluísio Carvão, and Mira Schendel, the artist develops her work through geometric derivations and a careful treatment of surfaces, creating a visual language that reflects on the constructive tradition and the possibilities of painting.

The catalog includes a text by social scientist, historian, and art curator Vanda Klabin, who curated the exhibition held in 2016 at Portas Vilaseca Galeria.
